New Ministry Intern!

Categories: Ministries

It is a joy to share with you who have prayed with us how the Lord has provided in a great way for our ministry. As you probably know, church planting involves a lot of ministry effort with limited resources of volunteers and means. This is fun, yet taxing on our people. As we continue to find and develop leaders, we have also been praying for an intern to work alongside us. God has answered our prayers.

Levi and Jordan Berntson have both attended the Association Free Lutheran Bible School, and will soon be moving out here. Levi, who recently graduated from AFLBS, has a heart for pastoral ministry, and will be attending John Witherspoon College here in Rapid City for his undergraduate degree. Both Levi and Jordan are mature and skilled believers that are excited to jump in and serve in many areas.

We are planning to have Levi work at Shiloh about 15 hours a week as our ministry intern.  This will be an enormous blessing for Shiloh as they will fill in areas that we are lacking.  I believe this will also be a great investment in their own ministry growth.  We are seeking to raise a prayer and support team for Levi and Jordan. Specifically, we are raising a $1,000 per month stipend for two years totaling $24,000.

If you would like to jump in and support the ministry of the Berntsons here at Shiloh through a one-time gift or monthly, we would be so thankful. Perhaps your local congregation would be interested in partnering with Shiloh in this way. Please feel free to share the support letter and form with your congregation.
